Real Madrid Peña Baku started back in 2003 when a couple of madridista friends Parviz Najafov and Parviz Ismailov decided to create a virtual Real Madrid fan club.

Our first activity started off on a - popular at the time - local social media pages. We would talk about Real Madrid on daily basis and didn't notice how in the matter of a few months we started meeting in real life to watch games and cheer for our team. This is when we had another addition to our board, Fuad Gubadov. Our fan club was only growing as months went by, and not only did we need more space for the madridismo spirit, we decided to become an official Real Madrid fan club.

March 2008, Peña Baku was officially registered and since then our family only grew. Back in 2009 we have formed our soccer team and start playing in local competition. Around the same time, we have another two additions Rauf Babayev and Nijad Piraliyev to our board of directors, who actually took our club to the next level. By creating Facebook and Instagram pages they brought a new wave of younger madridistas. In the span of next couple of years our Facebook has generated about 1000 likes, and by the end of the 2013-14 season it went up to 5000 likes. Today on our Facebook page we have more than 16500 likes, more than 350 active members. On big games like Clasico or Champions League finals numbers of members who come watching the game grows up to 550.

Peña Baku has been represented in various Real Madrid games in Spain as well as in final Champions League game in Kiev. We will continue sending our members to participate in official games to support Real Madrid team in all tournaments.

Our peña is active not only on sports occasions but also every 3-4 months our members contributing to the community with donations to the families with sick children. We hope we will be able to continue helping our community and place the name of the greatest club in the World at the highest level.

To this day our madridismo spirit burns with pride.
